For mobile tickets to display in the Journey Planner, the most important thing to consider is that they belong to a ticket coverage with an accurate map. There are more considerations, all of which are covered below.
We will display up to 2 mobile tickets per passenger class for each journey plan; the cheapest valid single ticket, and the cheapest valid ticket with an entitlement of a day or more. This makes it simple for ad-hoc bus users to choose the most appropriate fare product for their journey whilst also demonstrating the potential value of purchasing a day ticket.
Tickets are determined based on the time/date of the journey plan, the activation schedule and entitlement of the ticket, and the ticket’s coverage zone.
Journey Planner will not suggest a user purchase multiple mobile tickets to complete a journey.
