The main sources used to create journey plans are your TransXChange dataset, and OpenStreetMap (OSM). OSM is an open data source that is editable by anyone who signs up for an account.
Sometimes you'll see journey plan results that aren't what you'd expect. This can be caused by a huge number of different factors, which means working out where the problem lies can at first seem quite complex. Journey plans will not suggest passengers board buses at stops designated in the TransXChange dataset specifically for alighting, only.
