In order to produce a dataset that accurately represents your network, you must produce a dataset of TransXChange XML documents which describes the schedule of the network within a specific effective period. This dataset is uploaded as a zip file to Passenger Cloud.
The effective period of a dataset is based on the earliest start and latest end date of all service operating periods within a dataset.
These dates are inclusive, for example:
- If all services have operating periods from Jan 1st to Jan 31st then the dataset's effective period will be Jan 1st to Jan 31st
- If one service has an operating period from Jan 1st to Jan 31st and another service has an operating period from Jan 15th to Feb 15 then the dataset's effective period will be Jan 1st to Feb 15
